Popped over to London yesterday to see two shows by Japanese artists separated by 160+ years.
First up, Yoshitomo Nara at the
Hayward Gallery.

Excellent show highlighting Nara's subverted pop-culture tinged paintings, drawings and sculptures.
Next, Utagawa Hiroshige at the
British Museum.

Beautiful work from the prolific woodblock artist.
I always forget how refreshing it is to see other artist's work.
