CUBElab part two

tomorrow i go back up to manchester for five days for part two of CUBElab. i’ll be continuing to build on the works begun in week one - and possibly change them a bit too.

i’ve been selected for conjunction 08, an exhibition organised by airspace.
the show takes place in november.

OSOP08 final week

this is the final week of OSOP08 so if you haven’t been to northampton yet you’d better get a move on. the work comes down on sunday.

survivalist is go!

survivalist is complete and open for viewing until the 28th june.
go along and have a look. there’s more great art to see there too: work by lisa berry, michael shaw and jonathan velardi.
it was a comfortable build - a little stressing at the beginning but once i got materials sorted i was away.

two weeks to go

in two weeks time i go to northampton to install survivalist.
it should take about five days.
it’ll be an interesting build - i’ll be right in the middle of a fairly busy public thoroughfare trying to build a makeshift support structure that should hopefully save a part of the building from demolition!

open spaces open places

i’ve been selected to exhibit in OSOP this june. i will be devising a new piece of work for the greyfriers bus station in northampton.
the bus station is a great venue; a large building that, due to it’s distinctive 70s architecture, either causes love or hate. see this bbc article for more info and some pictures.
