33 Different Faces

VHS.
1998

One of a series of video works that go under the heading 'recently rediscovered archive footage.' The piece was designed to emulate 70s video performance work as a way of creating false value. The video was re-recorded from tape to tape several times to deteriorate the quality of the image. The performance consists of myself pulling as many different faces as I can to the camera.
