The Public Inquiry

Installation using found objects.

Commissioned for The Art of Architecture, The Public, West Bromwich.
13 - 15 February 2012.

Using the materials that The Public throws away, the leftover materials from the installation of the Art of Architecture show, plus materials and objects donated by people who visit (and who don't want to visit) The Public, I aim to build a sculpture (or sculptures) in response to the feedback I get from passers-by about The Public and its environs.

Initially the build will begin as a meeting point - a sort of parasitical shelter - appearing to attach itself to The Public. As information is gathered the shelter's structure and purpose will be altered to reflect the opinions of those I encounter.
