'Coming Soon...' was designed to be a signifier of value. There was no actual work, only 300 posters plastered around the Gloucester Docks area. Any creation that occured took place in the minds of those who read and believed the posters. The work became complete when, during her speech at the opening of the exhibition, Dame Janet Trotter apologised for my absence - the assembled dignitaries nodded as if they knew who I was.
