Refuge

Installation using rope and found objects.
Commissioned for Not Here at Radiant Space, Plymouth.
17 May - 26 June 2016

Refuge was built from materials found in and around Radiant and bound together with a continuous 600m line of rope. It was begun shortly before the exhibition opened and Rich continued to build for a number of days, giving people the chance to bring their own materials for inclusion in the work.

The exhibition, Not Here, looked at themes of safety, trauma and transformation. Other artists included: Alison Griffin, Sam Jesson, Yuxin Jiang, Arthur MacTaggart, Konstantinos Maximiadis, Andreea Stan, Anthony Stevens and Daniel Wechsler.
