My one-off publication about the Duddeston Viaduct in Digbeth launches on Saturday 15 March.

Join me from 12pm at A3 Project Space to pick up your copy, and then walk the street-level route with some of the contributors.

Here’s a sneak peak at the publication, which uses an Ordnance Survey map from 1902.

Blog posts have been a little sparse lately due to various factors: I’ve been concentrating on my ACE research and development projects, and, as previously mentioned, I’ve moved to an entirely different city.

I’ve been walking the street-level route of the abandoned Duddeston Viaduct in Digbeth, Birmingham, with various people and recording the conversations. This material is going to form part of a special one-off publication about the Viaduct to be launched in mid-March at A3 Project Space. To mark the launch there’s also going to be a special group walk. More details about the progress here.

I am also developing a piece for Wembley Vision based on my research visit at the end of last year (you can read my report here). Watch this space for news.

Further coverage of both projects can be found here.

A fresh, new, revamped website is also imminent. Once again, watch this space.

My project for Wembley Vision begins on Tuesday. I’ll be conducting research amongst the residents of Wembley, finding out how they feel about where they live, and what they would change about it.

I am very pleased to announce that I have been awarded a research and development grant from Arts Council England.

This award will enable me to research and produce three new works using various forms of public engagement over the next five months, along with mentoring from three respected arts practioners to help me develop my practice and create a more sustainable career.

More information will follow as the months progress - keep tabs on my development by following the R&D blog.
