Last night’s Market Estate Project event was excellent.
Illustrated here are:
- A shot of my piece.
- Penique Productions installation in 18 Clocktower Place - a whole flat lined with blue plastic and inflated with extractor fans (reversed) inserted in the door causing everything to become vacuum-sealed.
- ‘Live Life Like a Cabbage’ by Sorensen & Byrne. It really did feel like you’d just stumbled upon a secret growing room - but not growing what you expect.
- ‘Splinter’ by Tom Geoghegan. That is Tom hanging from the side of the building. He stayed there practically all night.

I start the big push for the Market Estate Project next week. Really looking forward to getting stuck in.
I’ll post some photos of the work as it progresses on the blog.

The Market Estate Project is now happening on the 6 March. I’m going to be on-site quite a bit from now on, sorting through the huge pile of materials.
The Arena show is to be a collaboration with Brychan Tudor. We’re working via email, exchanging ideas and drawing up plans for a piece of work to be built on-site at the gallery. The show opens on the 18 March

I’m going to be making new work for the Market Estate Project in London at the end of February, and new work for a show with Brychan Tudor at Arena Gallery in Liverpool in March.
